In this city of Toronto, there is no shortage of individuals, centers, and institutions that, amidst all global pressures, threats, and concerns, strive for peace, joy, love, and life. These radiant islands brighten all of us.

It’s crucial for progressive, humanistic, peace-seeking forces to find each other, come together, share dreams and aspirations, ask for help, and provide help. In this way, these luminous islands can become shining suns for the world.

A better life for humanity, for all, requires the collective participation of all forces and groups around the world striving as friends of humanity and peace lovers.

A better life for humanity for all requires the collective participation of all forces and groups around the world striving as friends of humanity and peace lovers.

The Peace School in Toronto is one of these bases and centers working to help children and families lead dignified lives. It is a school explicitly and clearly based on humanistic psychology and humanistic theories, striving to incorporate humanistic education concepts into its programs.

The Peace School is an official, international, non-profit institution operating with an official license from the Ontario Ministry of Education for children aged 4 to 12, up to the sixth grade. In addition to the usual subjects students study, this school seeks to organize its principles, concepts, content, and educational programs based on humanistic views. This includes:

  • Students’ right to choose.
  • Families, students, and teachers have the right to participate in educational planning.
  • Life values and peace concepts being integral to educational programs.
  • Attention to emotional and social growth alongside other aspects of development being important.
  • Educational programs being organized based on the needs, abilities, and collective and individual talents of the students.

The Peace School offers an opportunity to practice love for humanity and love for life. Our priority in educational programs is the well-being of the students. It’s a space where we can bloom students’ capabilities and talents in peace and harmony.

The Peace School is a democratic, humanistic, and child-friendly school working to develop humanistic education concepts in line with international standards. For this reason, it welcomes families and students who respect the principle of diversity while striving for unity and coherence in the growth of all humans.

We invite all enthusiasts and humanistic groups to join us on this journey of awareness. We welcome ideas, projects, and participation from all streams striving to improve human life and working towards this goal.

Don’t just see us as a school. Share your ideas with us and implement them at the Peace School. Alongside your dreams, our dream comes alive, grows, and enlightens the world.

Together, let’s strive for peace development.
